This is the official place to learn about me, my life and my music.
The lyrics to the songs in my latest CD have been posted for quite some time.
Streaming audio files for ALL of the tracks have just been added.
These are not clips - the WHOLE songs are on-line! They were encoded
at a low bit-rate and are mono to insure smooth streaming on low bandwidth
dial-up connections. If you like the songs you can purchase the CD and
hear them in their wide dynamic range in stereo. Check them out, you
will probably find something that you like.

David Gouge is a writer, composer, musician and performer of many styles of music. His latest (1st solo) CD, "roots (routes)", contains 13 tracks with samplings of Rock, Pop, Blues, Gospel, Boogie-Woogie and Country. The CD showcases his writer/composer talents. He is available to collaborate on projects with other people in the Nashville area.

David wrote ALL of the words and music contained in the CD. Multi track studio techniques allowed him to sing about 98% of the lead and background vocals as well as play a full complement of instruments. The CD contains music from lead electric guitar, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, organ, violin, harmonica and drums. Guest musicians played on 3 of the 13 tracks.

The CD is in some stores now, but full distribution has not been achieved yet. If you can't find it in your local music store, you can buy it from this web site.

ROMANTIC FOOL has been selected to be put on a compilation CD that will be distributed to radio stations across the country.

David appeared in his first country music video which premiered on CMT (Country Music Television) Thursday May 9, 2002. He was in the video for the song " Ol' Red" by Blake Shelton. David is the guy in a white tee shirt on the left side of the screen.

David has written and recorded 2 new Christmas songs. They have been distributed to radio stations, so you may hear them in your area. In case they are not being played on your local stations, we have made them available for download from this site. Click HERE to go to the download page.
